Will Hughes

Will_HughesBaritone Will Hughes recently received his Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where he studied under Dr. Christopher Arneson. With Westminster Opera, Will’s roles included Marco (Gianni Schicchi) and Schlemi/Crespel (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) in 2013, and Demetrius (Britten’sA Midsummer Night’s Dream) in 2012. Will was also seen annually in Westminster’s Art Song Festival, where he sang a variety of German Lieder and American art songs. He was the baritone soloist (Fauré’s Requiem) at the 2013 American Choral Directors Association National Conference, as well as the baritone soloist (Brahms’ Requiem) for the 2013 Oritorium Project in Cluj, Romania. Will hails from Dallas, Texas and earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance from Wheaton College, where he was the recipient of the Ben Heppner Prize.
