The Opera Society, an affiliate of Florida Grand Opera, now in its 32th year:

• fosters community interest in music, especially opera;
• promotes friendship among music lovers;
• provides charitable, educational and cultural projects for the public;
• raises funds in order to bring better opera to the community
• functions as an affiliate of Florida Grand Opera in Ft. Lauderdale and Broward County

The Opera Society offers captivating entertainment, stimulating education and social enrichment through its wide variety of membership events.

The highly-acclaimed annual Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner parties feature elegant and exclusive dinners in private homes, restaurants and aboard yachts.

The annual Diva-Impresario Awards Luncheon has, since 1994,  honored many women and men for their support of Florida Grand Opera.

Every spring, the Mad Hatter’s Membership Luncheon features a fun-filled hat competition and throughout the season, our Lyrical Luncheons invite artistic talents to enrich our minds and spirits with their knowledge of opera.

The In-School Opera Project introduces the next generation to opera, bringing age-appropriate productions to public and private elementary schools in Broward County.
